Drywall is hung, taped and the texture is coming soon. This was a huge milestone for us. We can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel!

Exterior Painting

We have paint!

The outside is now painted. We hired a family friend do the painting and we pitched in as wellto make sure we finished it while we had good weather.

Septic - Drilling Under the Road

Our septic line goes across the street and up the hill on the other side of the road. Instead of digging up the road to lay the line, this fancy machine just bores a hole under the road. It was very difficult to get the permits for this.

Insulation - Decking

Insulation using Eco-Bats. It's a natural plant fiber that doesn't give you all the fiberglass slivers. It looks different, but it has the same R-Values.

We had some extra materials so we threw some radiant tubing in the garage floor.

Miscellaneous Tasks

Three truck loads of sand was needed to bring up the garage floor to the height needed for the concrete. The kids had a great time playing in the sand.
